There are various ways to savor a scone with clotted cream and jam, and the choice is yours! Personally, I prefer a scone that strikes a balance between moistness and heartiness, making it easy to split without crumbling too much. I enjoy spreading clotted cream first and then topping it with raspberry jam, as I have a particular fondness for it. However, I appreciate all types of jams and haven't found a berry or fruit jam that I dislike. It's important to note that not all jams are of the same quality; I prefer jams that highlight the fruit and contain fruit chunks and/or seeds whenever possible.
