Meet Meredith – The Vision Behind Tea with Meredith ☕

 

Meredith has always believed that tea is more than just a drink—it’s an experience, a ritual, and a way to bring people together. A Harvard and Columbia-educated consultant, she spent years working at Accenture, Bloomberg, and NewYork-Presbyterian, mastering the art of strategy and business, all while quietly holding onto a dream: to create a tearoom (mobile for now!) that blends elegance, refinement, and true connection.

Her path to Tea with Meredith wasn’t linear—by day, she worked in consulting (and still does!); by night, she was training in restaurant kitchens such as Tocqueville and Bouley, taking culinary classes at ICE, and teaching cooking wherever she could, from Williams Sonoma to the New York City Farmers Markets.

 

A constant cook and baker, lifelong tea lover, former rower, and current runner, Meredith’s vision is to bring community-based tearooms to life, inspired by Alice Waters—where every guest, whether coming alone or with friends, always has a seat at the table. My teas are not just about the hand-selected teas and exquisite food but about creating an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere, always set to live classical music.
